FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we get most often about nationwide vehicle shipping.

How much does it cost to ship a car nationwide?

Most nationwide shipments fall between $600 and $1,800. Distance, vehicle size, transport type, and season are the main drivers. Quotes are free and locked in writing.

How long does shipping a car take?

Regional shipments inside 1,000 miles deliver in 2–4 days; coast-to-coast usually runs 7–10 days. Pickup typically occurs within 1–5 days of booking.

Is my vehicle insured during transport?

Yes. Every carrier in our network carries federally required cargo insurance. Enclosed and high-value shipments carry significantly higher policy limits.

Do you offer door-to-door pickup and delivery?

Yes, as close to your address as roads, trees, and local ordinances allow.

Can you ship non-running or inoperable vehicles?

Yes. We dispatch a winch-equipped carrier when you note the condition during booking.

Which states do you cover?

All 50 U.S. states. Arizona and Tennessee are our launch hubs.

What's the difference between open and enclosed transport?

Open transport uses multi-car carriers exposed to weather (standard, used for most shipments). Enclosed transport seals the vehicle inside a trailer — recommended for classics, exotics, and luxury cars.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, for the deposit. Balance on delivery is by cash, certified funds, or card depending on the carrier.

Can I leave personal items in my vehicle?

Industry standard allows under 100 lbs in the trunk only, at your own risk. Items are not covered by cargo insurance.
